The Play Team 

Many of our clubs at school are run by The Play Team and can be booked directly with them. 

The Play Team is a company dedicated to inspiring children and young people to lead active and healthy lifestyles.  Our aim is to achieve this through provision of the highest quality Physical Education, School Sport and Physical Activity (PESSPA).

Founded by Andrew Rowles, The Play Team has over 20 years industry experience with highly qualified staff coming from Primary, Secondary, College and University teaching backgrounds.

Childhood Obesity is a serious and very much publicised problem.  Current statistics indicate 1/3 of children (aged 2 to 15 years) are overweight/obese, with clear links between this and mental health issues. We are committed to tackling this problem, using our passion and experience to inspire those we engage with.

Staff Run Clubs 

We do also have lunchtime or before school training for a number of our sports teams, which continue throughout the term. These spaces are through invitation only and children will be invited to attend trials.
